A scenario not meant for melting ice.

 

What if I reverse the material?

 

Burn clay instead of freeze water.

 

Burnt white clay and frozen water both have neutral finishes.

 

Could this be the right material to be in the moment of the icicle?

 

So I changed the material of the icicle mold from plastic to plaster.
