SYNOPSIS

Following two artists (Deborah Fischer and Yarden Colsey) who are working on a project with the use of A.I. and the people of the kibbutz from which Deborah is from - Kfar Haruv. Their project used 4500 face photos of the kibbutz's members, which were used to create new members using GAN technology. The project also included 3D scannings of the members' living rooms, which were used to model new furniture for the new A.I. members. These pieces were constructed in reality and placed in the kibbutz's pool as their living room. This underwater gallery was showcased in a ceremony where everyone gathered at the pool to celebrate the arrival of the new members. Then all were welcomed to jump in to swim around and observe the art.

The film takes on three perspectives, the first of Deborah and Yarden at eye level, the second from underwater to reflect the flow of digital spaces, and the third from above looking 90 degrees down - the view of the A.I. member before acceptance to the kibbutz. The A.I. member has a voice that comes about as generated text, shown in intervals throughout the film. The film uses drone videography, screen recordings of 3D environments and A.I. generated imagery.

This project went on to be exhibited at 'Zero One Festival' in Jerusalem, and 'Gallery 51' in Modi'in.
