SYNOPSIS

Esther Gabay's story is a story that highlights the ways in which the residents of Mishor HaGefen neighborhood in Ofakim coped after the events of October 7th. The main heroine deals with the fresh memories of the events of October 7th that she experienced and saw through the blinds of her home. Esther reveals to us the meaning of everyday heroism. With her great sensitivity, she shows us how it manifests, not only on the battlefield, but also in everyday life through maintaining the routine, getting to work every day, caring for others and caring for her children who themselves have experienced trauma. Esther teaches us about the struggle to maintain strength and vitality, the need to rebuild meaning and the power of community solidarity.
