Bitcoin and Blockchain
In October 2008, Satoshi Nakamoto (alias) released the 'Bitcoin' white paper. Two months later, the first block on the 'Bitcoin Blockchain' had been mined, and it carries a message inside:

Having being introduced to this world in 2012, most of my involvement has been trying to keep up with all the developments going on, while constantly advocating for the currency and tech.
CONCEPT
2.5m x 2.5m x 1m QR Code
While not trying to promote the company in any way, the original QR code that was used to construct the info-sculpture, led to the first website I knew of to view the blockchain - www.blockchain.info; In retrospect, I should have used bitcoin.org, or Satoshi's white paper...
The idea was to treat a pile of bricks as pixels and attempt to create a giant scannable QR code that would also serve as a digital info-graphic.
The info-sculpture unfortunately turned out unscannable, but it does help newcomers to Bitcoin, get to know some valuable websites.
The info-sculpture was called 'Bitcoin briQR' when it was first conceptualized in 2014. Back then and up until quite recently, it used to be an animated interactive tool. Sadly 'Flash' has been eliminated from our web and so the information is currently displayed as static images.
